Every once in a while congregations and their ministers take time for periods of rest and renewal. Sabbath time is built into the cycles of life in the Bible, a necessary pause to the normal cycles of work so that learning and life can be explored and renewed. April 23-July 22 is a sabbatical time of our minister and our congregation. On this page you will find information about our sabbatical plans along with more detailed schedules of scripture readings. The congregation will experience an exciting variety of guest worship leaders and a community art project to fulfill our own sabbatical time. Rev. Britt will return on August 21, following her annual holidays which will be taken right after her sabbatical.
